Michigan Escape Rooms Competing to be Best in the Nation

Good news, escape room fans. Some of the best in the entire country are right here in the Mitten State!

A Michigan escape room with multiple locations is in the running for Favorite Escape Room in the America  in a USA Today and 10Best readers poll.

A panel of experts has selected twenty facilities from across the country that immerse players in adventures that range from escaping laboratories to unearthing secrets on archaeological dig sites. It's now up to a public vote to determine the top ten!

Michigan's Decode Escape Rooms in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti is up for the honor of best in country. There's another location coming soon in Detroit.

In the poll last year, Decode Escape Rooms was voted No. 3 in the U.S.

Decode Escape Rooms offers five different adventures.

• "The Aurora Society" in Ypsilanti - you'll explore the secrets of a magical society.
• "The Library in Ypsilanti" - race against the clock to assemble components for spells.
• "Around the World in 80 Days" in Ann Arbor -  go on a once-in-a-lifetime journey to iconic destinations around the world.
• "Trouble in Paradise" in Ann Arbor - attempt to solve unusual disturbances at a hotel.
• "Drive-In Adventure" in Ann Arbor - play from your parked car and go on a hunt for the missing North Star.
