Where have we seen this story before?

According to MLive.com, Elon Musk, (some say) eccentric genius and billionaire, gave away laptops to an entire school in Flint on Friday and arranged for two of the kids to take a tour of "Space X and the design studio at Tesla, both located in Hawthorne, California". If one of those kids inherits the Space X factory and the Oompa Loompas that work there, well - you heard it here, first.

I will admit, it was a cool move to come talk to middle school kids and get them fired up about their futures. Musk talked to them at an assembly about being a kid himself and "putting together model airplanes, rockets and radios. He also admitted he liked blowing things up".

The kids he talked to will be going to a new STEM based middle school next year. In addition to those kids getting Chromebooks courtesy of Musk, he's providing all the schools in Flint with water filtration systems by the 2019-20 school year.

Here's the story.
