Lansing's House of Ing closed for good on March 31, 2016.

Operating for almost 50 years, it opened at 4113 S. Cedar Street in 1967.

Napoleon Ching began working there around 1976, and took over ownership in 1986. The restaurant's popularity was such, that government officials would convene there for meals to discuss legislation and swap ideas.

I remember ordering the duck dinner at House of Ing many years ago...the skin was crispy and the meat was succulent...one of the best duck dinners I ever had!

For all Ing-iacs and Ing-aholics, the INGcredible takeout locations still serve up the delicious meals you found at the House of Ing.
