If you gave it your all out best effort, how many ski areas could you ski on in a 24 hour period here in Michigan?

That's exactly what two gentlemen did as they both traveled more than 700 miles across the state of Michigan to ski at 22 different locations.

According to mlive.com:

Kyle Kelly, 28, of Caledonia, and Brad Dykstra, 29, of Hopkins, were successful in their attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most ski area skied in a 24 hour period this weekend.

Not only do I find this outstanding, but I also find it hilarious that two guys would even think of such a feat. But they did it and they did it well.

I can't even imagine skiing at 22 different locations over the weekend to break a record like that. I would find it difficult just to go to three or four locations over a two day period.

Mlive.com adds:

The West Michigan guys traveled 763 miles across the state of Michigan to ski at 22 locations on Saturday, Feb. 26, and Sunday, Feb. 27, breaking the previous record of 17 set in Japan in 2017.

Here's the cool part of this whole adventure in Michigan, you're within a two hour drive of a any ski area. This was brilliant thinking on their part.

It would be great to be in the Guinness Book of World Records for something like this. I wonder if anyone has ever attempted to visit the most pizza joints in the state of Michigan?

Since I love pizza so much, I would have to find the perfect person to go with me to break the world record. We would certainly have to load the car up with plenty of antacids.

How about breaking the record for playing putt putt golf here in Michigan. I think my wife and I could break the World Record playing putt putt golf courses.
