How many times have we heard that before? Usually it's for some hairbrained scheme or caper in an action movie or something.

However this time we humbly submit something more tasty and tempting for your tummy.

But I thought you mentioned fruit cake?

We did. And while we know that the mere mention of fruit cake will send most running for the hills, it's this outside the box thinking that might be crazy enough and tasty enough to try.

Lord knows it looks good enough to eat.

While searching holiday food origins and treats, I discovered an article from the folks over at MLive about this tasty pastry concocted by the fine bakers over at Groovy Donuts (East Lansing & Williamston).
