Did you hear about a footwear company moving their headquarters to Grand Rapids, Michigan?

Either did I until now. The company is called "HOLO" Footwear. This company is coming from Portland, Oregon. Here's the best part of this deal. It will create close to 60 jobs and a $1.5 million capital investment.

HOLO Footwear, which is minority-owned and describes itself as a sustainable outdoor footwear company, plans to lease space at a downtown office building, 50 Louis St. NW, and hire up to 61 workers with an average wage of $1,629 per week plus benefits, according to a memo from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation..

I'm not sure if you do much shopping at Dick's Sporting Goods, but you can actually find HOLO Footwear not only at Dick's Sporting Goods, but at Macy's as well.

You may want to consider HOLO Footwear sometime in the near future, because I'm hearing good things about this company.
