In the early years, the East Lansing Film Festival used four theaters of Michigan State's Wells Hall, for three days.  This year, that's three theaters and only on Friday night.

It's still the East Lansing Film Festival, but it now has less East Lansing, has fewer films, and may be less festive.

The ELFF has two potential crowdpleasers, dealing with old-time music and the Joe Louis Arena, in the Hannah Community Center, Nov. 5 and 7.  Others will be at Studio C.

The East Lansing Film Festival begins this Thursday, Nov. 1st.  For location and show times, please click here on Lansing State Journal.
