The interior of the new Baskin Robbins store at 1595 W. Lake Lansing Rd. is decorated in the brand's familiar shade of pink.

It's the fifth Baskin Robbins store in the country with some upgrades, including a digital menu board and a large, colorful mural along a wall in the seating area that features local landmarks.

Owners Tom and April English always planned to open more than one Baskin Robbins store in the Lansing area.   East Lansing is the right market for their second Baskin Robbins location.  Their first location is in Okemos on Grand River.

The new East Lansing location will employ between 12 to 15 people.  It offers a 62 seat dining room that can be rented out for special occasions.  The Lansing State Journal has more.
