
’Family Matters’ Star Darius McCrary Arrested on Michigan Warrant
Well, looks like a "Family Matters" alum might be wishing he had a little more family and a little less matters right now. Darius McCrary, the actor best known as Eddie Winslow, was arrested near the U.S.-Mexico border last week on a Michigan fugitive warrant.

Arrest Near Border: What We Know
According to UPI, McCrary, 49, was picked up by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol while allegedly heading to Tijuana on October 5, 2025. His rep says he didn't know about the warrant and was on his way to "speak encouragement and light to the homeless." Which, okay, noble mission — maybe start with your own kids first?

Warrant, Rep Statement, and Past Arrests
According to People, this is McCrary's third arrest in ten years, with past due child support in Michigan being the recurring theme. He's currently being held without bail, with a court appearance scheduled for this week.
