Could HGTV be coming to Flint? It's starting to look like a very real possibility.

HGTV’s  Rehab Addict host Nicole Curtis posted a picture of herself and Land Bank Executive Director Michael Freeman on her Twitter Saturday and captioned it , “It was refreshing to speak with a land bank director with vision and the good sense to look at the big picture -- we bring a lot of positive vibes & eyes to any city.”

Land Bank Executive Director Michael Freeman told Mlive that it's not a done deal yet, but things are looking positive for the popular show to make its way to Genesee County.

“Nothing is set in stone right now,” Freeman told Mlive. “There is ongoing communication. We’ve taken her on some tours of Flint. She saw the vibrancy and the cool factor. The conversation is ongoing and very positive.”

Curtis, a Lake Orion native, debuted a new show on HGTV in January titled Rehab Addict Rescue. The show follows Nicole — best known for her hands-on restoration of crumbling historic homes to their former glory in HGTV’s popular series Rehab Addict — as she rescues homeowners who are totally overwhelmed by the renovation process.

"For years, I've been saving old houses from demolition and renovating them," said Nicole. "In that time, we've inspired a lot of people to do the same. Then we get their calls for help. Now we're here to save them when they find out what it really takes to save an old house", Curtis said in HGTV write-up.

According to Mlive, the Land Bank has roughly 3,900 available residential properties with homes still standing in Flint. The Land Bank has taken  possession of these properties obtained by Genesee County through tax foreclosure and then works to redevelop, resell or demolish homes and commercial structures.

Curtis did take time in her social media post to send a little "note" to Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan in regards to the ongoing lawsuit revolving around a lawsuit with the Detroit Land Bank Authority saying the authority took advantage of her when it took the deed to a 1908 foursquare. Curtis' Detroit Renovations LLC paid a private owner $17,000 for the house on East Grand Boulevard in 2017. The next year, Curtis learned that the land bank actually held the property title.
