Costco Is Limiting How Much Meat You Can Buy
Costco announced on Monday that they are temporarily reducing the amount of meat that shoppers can purchase due to meet the demands of all of their members.
Until further notice, Costco will only allow purchasing of 3 fresh meat products per membership card. They define fresh meat as beef, pork, or poultry products. This limitation is one that is becoming more and more common as Costco joins Kroger and Wegmans in their decision to limit the purchase of certain meat products.
In addition to the limits put on their meat products, Costco is also reducing the amount of people that can enter their store. Effective immediately, they are only allowing 2 people per membership card in to the store to shop at a time.
These new rules are being implemented almost daily, as their mask requirement is less than a week old. You can stay up to date with all the new rules for shoppers on the Costco COVID Updates page.
