Capital Area Humane Society Working to Save Cat Shot With Arrow

The Capital Area Humane Society is caring for a cat found in Kalamo Township that had been shot with an arrow.  The cat underwent surgery successfully on Monday afternoon, according to Penny Pearsall at the shelter, who also noted that the next 24 hours are critical.

Authorities are searching for the identity of the person(s) responsible for this crime and have asked anyone with information to call the Eaton County Animal Control at (517) 543-5755 or CAHS at (517) 626-6060.
