One of those places is in downtown Lansing and it's called "Trick or Treat on the Square."  All the fun takes place on Friday, Oct. 28 from 5 to 7 p.m.at 112 Washington Square.

Here's the best part, parking is free on that day and there is no cost to attend. You get to dress up and trick or treat at each and every business along Washington Square.

Another great event taking place is "Jack O' Lanterns Unleashed"  in Mason. This fun filled event takes place Thursday through Sunday through Oct. 30, at the Ingham County Fairgrounds.

According to the Lansing State Journal:

The Ingham County Fairgrounds is hosting Jack O' Lanterns Unleashed again with even more to do than last year. According to the event's Facebook page, Jack O' Lantern Lane features over 5000 carved pumpkins creating 30 different scenes to enjoy. Thursdays are dog-friendly and each event day will feature rides and games, food and drink vendors and photo rooms.

And how about one more fun filled Halloween event? This one takes place on Halloween, Oct. 31, from 5:30-8p.m. It's the Village Lansing 4th annual Trunk or Treat.

This event will take place at the Village Lansing parking lot and there's a good chance you might win a prize for having the best costume.

Many fun Halloween events taking place now through Halloween, Oct. 31. Visit one or visit them all. Stay safe and Happy Halloween!
