I didn't think it was possible, but, The Henry Ford Museum just got cooler.

According to MLive.com, The Henry Ford's Star Trek exhibit opened this past weekend. "Star Trek: Exploring New Worlds" opened at the museum on Saturday. The exhibit runs through September 2nd. Yes, they're gonna charge you ($24 for adults), but they have over 100 props and artifacts from the six TV shows and some of the movies. Included are costumes worn by Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner.

There have been many versions of Star Trek, but I'm a fan of the original. Back in the late '60s, I was a little kid and my dad worked for Lockheed as an aeronautical engineer - so guess what we were watching every Friday night? ("Gunsmoke" was Monday nights) It's sad that not everyone was a fan originally - the low ratings killed the original after only three seasons.

Why, yes. I will be visiting. As soon as possible.
