Abandoned Michigan Motel, Empty for Decades

WARNING: Under no circumstances should you enter this property. By doing so you risk bodily harm and/or prosecution for trespassing on private property.

Here’s another abandoned location where the videographer refuses to tell us exactly where it is.....all he says, it’s in “Yee-haw” Michigan...which could mean any of our small, rural towns or villages.

There’s a trailer for sale on the site that had a phone number on it, so I looked up the area code to see where in Michigan this might be...but the area code (814) is located in Pennsylvania. So, even though the camera guy says he’s in Michigan, the owner of the trailer must have fled to Pennsylvania, or he’s on a cell phone contract with others with that area code.

Inside this motel, the floors are about to collapse, and there are old TVs inside that make it seem like this was abandoned decades ago. Collapsed ceilings, ripped mattresses, and moss growing through the carpet throughout. You’ll also see the front desk where customers used to check in.

Out back is another building that looks like it was never completed. Boards are holding it up through the windows and doors. Inside, it looks like the carpenters just stopped and left it as it was. Tall weeds and ivy have sprouted and are slowly taking over the inside.
