Inside an Abandoned Railroad Car on a Deserted Track: South Central Michigan

Somewhere in south central Michigan, sitting abandoned on a deserted railroad track, is an old passenger train car.
Trekking to to this car isn't as easy as it may sound; sure, it sits on an old track, but the track is overgrown with bushes and weeds – and the majority of those weeds have thorns.
The inside of the car still has a few old train seats left and as you look at these, you can imagine what train travel was like in cars like this.
The few seats that remain have been ripped apart, and so has the flooring.
This is a very cool explore...even so, for me, I am more fascinated by the old track. How long has the railway been shut down? And why? And why was a train car left here all alone to be shredded by trespassers?
Whenever you come across something like this in your travels, do your best to find someone who owns the property to avoid any legal hassles.
