Abandoned 40-Acre Property Near Brown City, Michigan

Here's another hunk of 'abandoned' property that is up for auction: a 40-acre piece of land with a house, vehicles, and garage sitting deep in the woods. It sits somewhere off Maple Valley Road near Brown City in the Michigan Thumb.

Old trucks and even a jeep are sitting, getting overtaken by brush. There's also an old shed, and the two-car garage has an apartment attached to it.

The house is basically a single-wide mobile home with added attachments.

Not far from the 'house' is a fenced-off area with a chair in it. Maybe it was put there as a place for a dog? But with a chair there, maybe it was a cooling-off place for an unruly child. Who knows? Worse things have happened.
