Calling all beer fans, aficionados, snobs, connoisseurs, and anyone in between...

It's official; Beerfest at the Ballpark is back!

Beerfest at the Ballpark Lansing

This 7th annual beer (and way more) festival is returning to Jackson Field, Home of the Lugnuts, on Saturday, April 30th from 3 to 8 pm (there's an early entry for VIP, but we'll get to that in a minute). And it's happening rain or shine, so you may want to pack an umbrella or a poncho, just in case.

As of right now, The Weather Channel averages that we'll see a high of 64 for the day, and a low of 43. Keep in mind that this is a very extended forecast as of right now (Wednesday, March 2nd). And this is Michigan, after all, so who knows? The Weather Channel also said the record high for the day was 82, and that the record low is 27, so keep that at the back of your mind as we get closer to the date.

Beer, Cider, Mead, and More

Regardless of the weather, the beer will be flowing, and there will be plenty of variety to choose between, as 50 different breweries will be in attendance. And beer isn't the only thing a brewin'; there's going to be mead, wine, hard seltzer, spirits, and hard cider that you'll be able to sample, too.

Some local favorites will be in attendance; like, ConfluxCity Brewing Co., BAD Brewing Co., Dimes Brewhouse, Eagle Monk Brewery & Pub, Ellison Brewery, Lansing Brewing Co., and many others. Plus, American Fifth Spirits, Michigan Distillery, & Red Cedar Spirits have got you covered for cocktails, and Uncle John's has you on the hard cider front.

General Admission, VIP, and More

There's more than one experience you can choose from, too. You can purchase your general admission ticket prior to the event or at the door, it'll run you $35 and $40, respectively. That gets you in at 3 pm, along with a souvenir glass and 10 tasting tickets. Or, you could upgrade to one of the VIP experiences.

There's the "regular" VIP ticket, which comes with early entry at 2 pm, as well as a "Dated Logo Souvenir Glass", and five additional tasting tickets. Or—the "go big or go home" style option-the Rare Beer with VIP ticket. That experience will run you $80, but in addition to the stuff you get with the "regular" VIP ticket, you also get the Rare Beer ticket, which comes with 8 tasting tickets for the rare beer selection and appetizers, all taking place at the Good Hops/The View area in the back of the stadium, from 3:30 - 5 pm. And the Lugnuts will be cooking up some burgers, pizzas, and more for you to chow down while you drink, responsibly, of course.

And they didn't forget our non-drinking friends and designated drivers. There's an option for you as well. You can buy those tickets at the gate the day of for just $15.
