When it comes right down to it, there are some who like to follow rules and mandates, and then there are others who will try and fight them with no questions asked.

Bottom line, the new federal vaccine mandate will cover over 80 million workers. Here in Michigan, the mandate will most likely cover around 2 million people.

When you have millions of people currently vaccinated and millions more unvaccinated, then that creates somewhat of a problem across the country.

If this federal mandate is going to help save lives, which I'm sure it will, then let's get more and more people vaccinated to help keep them and their families safe from being infected with COVID-19 variants.

According to mlive.com:

In his initial announcement of the vaccine mandate, President Joe Biden said employers with 100 or more employees would be included. This left business owners across the state scrambling for answers on how employees would be counted and what requirements fell on the employer.

Here where I work, we don't have anywhere near 100 employees. We have roughly around 25 or 30 employees and I'm pretty sure that everyone in our building has been vaccinated.

There are some people who would like to fight this federal mandate, but most likely that will be impossible.

Mlive.com also adds:

The 100 employee threshold is based on the overall company total, not individual locations. this means if there's a kiosk with one employee, but the total number of company employees is 100 or more, the business would indeed be subject to the mandate.
