Zipline Available for Thrill Seekers in Downtown Lansing
An unusual tour of downtown Lansing will be available for thrill-seekers next week. Lansing 5:01's zipline tour will take place from 5-9 p.m. July 12 along Washington Square. Admission is $10.
According to the Lansing State Journal, the 300-foot long zipline tour will start from a 30-foot high platform at Washington Square and West Ottawa Street.
Participants will head north to a platform that ends the tour at Washington Square and Ionia Street.
Josh Holiday, Lansing 5:01's board president, said the zipline is part of the group's effort to help reinvent the way people think about the city's downtown.
