Traveling to Mars may soon be available to the average (but very wealthy) traveler.

Elon Musk unveiled SpaceX's new Starship that is designed to fly to the Moon, Mars and even further than that.

Musk was in Texas at the SpaceX launch facility Saturday night.  He was speaking in front of a 50-meter, 200-ton Starship prototype and called it "the most inspiring thing that he had ever seen." He described the unique design features of the ship and he went to outline plans to fast-track production. His hope is "to reach orbit in less than six months."

Since the company's founding in 2002, SpaceX has been working towards their goal of making space travel cheaper and accessible to would-be space travelers.

For many travelers and adventurers going into space would be a dream come true, for people like me...no thanks. I will keep my feet firmly on the ground.
