This Was Voted “The Worst Christmas Movie of All Time”

I was going to do a list of the Top 10 Worst Christmas Movies. But when I was doing research, I discovered that many of the Christmas favorites were listed on separate ‘worst’ lists. So, I decided to hone it down to the Top Five.

That wasn’t working either, so I just decided to do just one: the all-time worst Christmas movie.

The one film that was on everybody’s “Worst Christmas Movie” list was the 1964 kiddie cheese-fest, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.

Co-starring Pia Zadora in her first film role when she was just ten years old, the plot  centers on Martians who come to Earth to kidnap Santa Claus. Seems like the Martian children have been hacking in to Earth TV shows that glorify and praise Santa Claus, which upsets Martian parents.

Not many names you would know here; but another actor you may remember is Ned Wertimer, who portrays a news reporter. Ned played Ralph the doorman on The Jeffersons from 1975-1985.
