Why are all women who have a large number of cats called 'crazy'? Maybe some of them are, maybe some of them aren't...but here's another one.

This crazy cat lady lived deep in the Wisconsin woods, cut off from just about everything. Nice and secluded, she and her husband built this structure – their 'dreamhouse' – in the 1990s.

Their hopes of a long life of peace in the woods came to an end when the husband passed away. The woman just couldn't bear to leave this home, as it brought her many good memories. Instead, she stayed and started taking care of any stray cats that came her way.

A former veterinarian, she soon found herself inundated with a large number of cats. The home was adorned with cat photos, tapestries, clothes, scratch pads, toys, cat towers, etc. When word reached the ears of locals, she was given the moniker of “crazy cat lady”.

In 2020, she disappeared... abandoned the house and the cats. Nobody ever found out what happened to her, she was just gone all of a sudden. All the cats disappeared, too. She did leave a very cool-looking automobile in the garage. Surprisingly, no one has tried to steal it.

Scroll down and take a look inside the house. There are some rooms that are still in very good shape, and others that are full of cat things.
