Where Are the Best Bowling Alleys in Michigan?
Have you ever wondered how many bowling alleys are in Michigan? According to bowling alley owners and the Bowling Centers Association of Michigan, there are over 250 bowling alleys in Michigan.
That's incredible , considering that I've only bowled in about 15 out of the 250 plus bowling alleys that are currently operating in Michigan.
So where are the best bowling alleys in Michigan? Here in Lansing, we're familiar with Royal Scot Golf and Bowl, Spare time Entertainment Center, and City Limits. All three of these Lansing area bowling centers are very nice and have a lot to offer.
But let's take a look at some of the best bowling alleys in Michigan, outside of the Lansing area.
Have you heard of Superior Entertainment Center in Marquette? This U.P. bowling center has lots of options. Not only do they have both youth and adult leagues, they also have a full arcade, trivia games, and a table shuffleboard. This bowling center serves up delicious burgers, pizza, salads, and more.
How about Clique Lanes in Grand Rapids? (bestthingsmi.com)
Grand Rapids offers plenty of options for bowling, but one of the best around is Clique Lanes, a 16-lane, bi-level bowling alley that features a variety of snack options. The real killer about this one, though, is the pricing: $0.75 games and $2 Bud cans keep many bowling diehards happy even on a slim budget. Throw in a downright impressive-looking bit of neon signage and Clique Lanes will offer a good old-fashioned bowling experience on par
with the best.
Next up on our top bowling alleys list is Airway Lanes in Portage. This bowling facility is truly amazing. I should know because I've bowled at Airway Lanes. What makes this place so great? They feature miniature golf, an arcade, laser tag, and a full service taproom with snacks and dinners available.
Another great place to check out is Bam! Ultimate Entertainment Center in Holland. Here's what bestthingsmi.com has to say:
For sheer force of nomenclature, you can't beat Holland's BAM! Ultimate Entertainment Center. BAM! offers an array of options for visitors, including an arcade with skee ball and air hockey, laser tag, pool leagues, and a tiny, four-lane miniature bowling alley known as Bitty BAM! Regular special pricing schemes come into play including complete play packages to provide plenty of bang—or should we say bam?—for the buck.
I think I've found a new goal for myself, try to bowl at every one of these Michigan bowling establishments. Or I could just stick to the three here in the Lansing area. In my opinion, all three belong on the best bowling alleys in Michigan list.
