When Do Fall Colors Peak In Michigan

Michigan is a beautiful state, but in the fall when the leaves change, that is when the state shines.  Oranges, reds, yellows.....the color of Michigan is beyond beautiful.

Did you know that fall colors in our state are a result of various weather conditions?

MLives Mark Torregrossa says that some of the abnormal weather conditions we saw this summer will affect when and where Michigan's fall colors will peak.

I was recently in the Upper Peninsula and did see a few trees that were starting to change, I was not ready for that.

The beauty of Michigan in the fall bring's in money, with tourist's traveling around the state on color tours.

So when will  the peak colors start showing up?  In the U.P.it should be in October  most likely October 7th through the 14th.  Color should be showing up in the upper lower Peninsula around October 14th through the 21st.  Mid Michigan will see the beautiful fall colors October 17th through the 21st and then lower Michigan will get their fall color show October 21st through the 28th,.

Michigan is beautiful all year long, but REALLY shines in the fall.
