MSU football is coming back on the gridiron, the pre-season #15 ranked Spartans kickoff their season on Friday, September 5th at 7 pm against Western Michigan University at Spartan Stadium.

Going to football games is a lot of fun for me and my family. We set up the tailgate early, we tailgate, and then go to the game. It's a tradition I have had for years and it's awesome now because I can share those good times and create memories with my family.

Sometimes plans don't work out for one reason or another. When that happens we like to hit a sports bar or restaurant to watch the game on the big screen TVs. The weather hasn't been a factor for our family, yet. Trust me, there have been lots of games that I have been to when the weather was not amicable. Yes, I have left because the weather sucked. When that's happened, I've always headed to a sports bar or restaurant to finish watching the game.

When it comes to watching the game on TV, there are plenty of local options that I have enjoyed. Sometimes it's easier to head to a "venue" to watch the game on T.V. and know that the cooking will be taken care of, there's no cleanup at the tailgate sight, and sitting indoors in mid-November is a cozy option.

If you are looking for a place to watch MSU football this season, check this list out. Lansing.org had some good options and I also added some of my personal choices too.
