We are so looking forward to spring in Michigan. Spring arrives on Sunday, March 20, and that means it's time to say goodbye to a long winter.

With that being said, we're all looking forward to warmer temperatures in Michigan so that we can get back outdoors and enjoy everything that spring and summer has to offer.

I think we all want the same thing and that would be warmer weather. Because warmer temperatures is actually good for your health.

I was reading an article at spoonuniversity.com explaining why warm weather is good for your health. It thoroughly explains the whole concept behind feeling better, having less stress, and being more active during warmer temperatures.

One of the things I enjoyed about the article was the fact that sunlight is good for less stress. This is so true. Does anything feel better than getting outside to exercise, work on a project, go for a hike, and even mow your own lawn.

Let's face it, warm weather brings out the best in everyone. Being cooped up in your house all winter long is nothing but a downer.

Warm weather can even make you feel like being more active. It does for me anyway. I'll put air in my bicycle tires and take a 2 or 3 mile spin throughout my neighborhood. It's definitely a mood booster when the weather is much warmer.

When it's a beautiful day and the sun is shining, it makes you feel better knowing that you can do just about anything.

When my wife and I are outside on a beautiful sunny warm day in Michigan, we'll fire up the grill and cook up some chicken and steaks, and after we're done eating, we'll go for a nice long walk.
