Velvet A Candy in East Lansing is Officially Closed

Velvet A Candy Store, located at 507 E. Grand River Ave., announced on Facebook that it closed Monday.

The store served all kinds of goodies, including Mackinac Island fudge, home made ice cream, old fashioned candy and caramel corn.

According to the Lansing State Journal, Trisha and Erik Berakovich opened the store in the summer of 2015.  They previously operated the store on Mackinac Island and in Harbor Springs, but those locations have since closed.
