There's nothing better than listening to holiday Christmas music when you're shopping for gifts, wrapping gifts, on your way to a Christmas party, and even when you're enjoying a sit down dinner at home.

There are so many great Christmas songs to enjoy during the holiday season. A few that come to mind are Paul McCartney's "Wonderful Christmas Time," Bing Crosby's "White Christmas," and "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" by Burl Ives.

Holiday classics are great to listen all the way through Christmas Day, Dec. 25. But what are the top 5 most popular Christmas songs? (timeout.com)

1.All I Want for Christmas is You-by Mariah Carey:

2. Rockin Around the Christmas Tree-by Brenda Lee:

3. It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year-by Andy Williams:

4. Last Christmas-by Wham:

5. Jingle Bell Rock-by Bobby Helms:

I would definitely have to agree with the top 5 Christmas songs on the list provided by timeout.com.

Other songs on their list include "Santa Baby," "Blue Christmas," "Silver Bells." and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," just to name a few.

And now it's time for one of my own personal picks. This Christmas song is absolutely beautiful and it's sung by Carrie Underwood and John Legend. The song is called "Hallelujah," and it's a great song to enjoy during the holiday season.

I could listen to "Hallelujah" over and over again because Carrie Underwood and John Legend did an outstanding job singing this song together with such beauty, grace, and elegance.

Happy Holidays and thanks for listening to Lansing's Christmas Station!
