Tis the season

I am so excited for Silver Bells in the City tonight!  I really don't know what it is, but I look forward to the lighting of the State Christmas Tree every year.  It may be that it's one of the first things I experienced in Lansing, before it became our home.  I've been here 21 years and I still think it's cool that I pass the Capital every day.  But back to Silver bells in the City!  the electric parade is always soo cool and after the lighting of the tree there's fireworks over the Capital and free events all over downtown.  Santa, Mrs Clause and and the Reindeer are at the city market.  All of the attractions are open and free and there's just a general good feeling among everyone.  I get the honor of being in "A Suessified Christmas Carol" a radio play at LCC's Dart Auditorium...a great place to warm up :)  Our cast includes Jason Colthorp from channel 10, Evan Pinnsonault from channel 6, Chris Tyler from WITL and Parker from 94.1.  it's a community event that is funny and entertaining.  I know a lot of people think it's too soon, but I'm feelin' it...Happy Holidays!
