Time for Greater Lansing to Celebrate Temperatures in the 80’s
We're now into the month of May with Michigan weather lately being all about rain, light snow, and chilly temps.
Enough is enough! It's time for warmer temps in the Greater Lansing area and that's exactly what we're going to get during the week of May 9th.
This from mlive.com:
So here comes a big rearranging of the upper-air pattern. It's the next step toward summer weather. It also means the general temperature pattern we've had for the last six weeks will change dramatically next week.
Sounds good to me. I think if you could ask anyone on the streets, they would say they are certainly ready for summer like weather.
Next week we should see temperatures in the upper 70's to the lower 80's. That means no jackets and getting some work done outside for a change.
I love warmer temps because this means I can start prepping for planting my favorite flowers once Memorial Day weekend gets here.
It will be great weather to wash your vehicle, mow the lawn, and even do a little touch up painting on the house as well.
My wife and I are going to paint our new shed next week because of the warmer temperatures. It's been too chilly and rainy lately to get anything done around the house.
We also plan on biking during the nice weather next week. My wife and I recently mapped out a five mile bike ride around the Okemos area and plan on embarking on that adventure soon.
People love the warmer temps and we've needed this for a very long time now. We've been waiting patiently and now the time has come.
