There have been three pandemics in the 20th century. The first was in 1918 and the other two in 1947 and 1968. Though, the most devastating of the three was the 1918 Flu Pandemic.

We are going to take a look into the history of the 1918 pandemic and how it affected Michigan. And just so we are all clear, yes they did close down churches, movie theaters, and saloons, much like we are doing in our current pandemic.
