According to WILX-News 10, Your Breaking News and Weather Authority, Mid-Michigan Schools are gearing up for the new school year by stuffing a bus full of school supplies.

Superintendent Stacy Bailey from Okemos Public Schools says that they will work in collaboration with the Salvation Army and Walmart to fill the bus with school supplies.

The Salvation Army and Walmarts all across the country will be participating. All the donated items will go to families in need.

One woman knows what it feels like to be a person in need, so she donated an entire cart full of school supplies. Everyone is encouraged to participate to help support the children in your community.
