The Top Ten Snobbiest Places in Michigan
We've seen several different articles about Michigan's Most Redneck Towns, Poorest Towns, Dangerous Towns, smallest, largest, richest, blah-blah-blah. So here's a new one: What are places in Michigan where we have the biggest amount of snobs?
Every town, village, community, hamlet, and city has the blue collars all the way up to the ultra-white collar snobbery. A few years ago, Roadsnacks took it upon themselves to do a little investigating on the snobs in our state to find out which places we can avoid the largest amount of snobbery.....and evidently, their list holds up this year.
So don't blame us for this list...send all complaints to Roadsnacks...
Before you see the top ten “Snobbiest” places in Michigan, the Number One place is described by Roadsnacks as combining “unparalleled wealth (the highest median household income in Michigan) with expensive homes (second highest in Michigan) to create an enclave of snobbery.”

Roadsnacks continues as they describe the second snobbiest place in Michigan, stating it “boasts the most expensive McMansions in Michigan.” The fifth snobbiest is said to rank “as having the most private schools per capita.”
Of course, the authors back-pedaled a little saying it's not their personal opinion, but the results are based on data on places with more than 5,000 residents, home price, income, population, number of college degrees, private schools, theaters, and art galleries, the website read.
Their final comment was “These aren't bad places to live, so don’t get that idea.” Now see for yourself:
