Evil is everywhere in the world and some of it is locked up in Michigan.

Michigan does have a lot of great history, but there are also some dark sides too. Right now, throughout Michigan correctional facilities, at least six violent murderers are where they belong and locked up for life. Below you will find six Michigan serial killers that are currently serving life sentences.

These six individuals committed some very horrendous acts of violence and murder, but are now thankfully off the streets and will never see the light of day again. The six serial murders on this list include the likes of the "Flint Serial Stabber" and the "Ypsilanti Ripper."

The Flint Serial Stabber is the most recent of the heinous acts. Between May and August of 2010, the City of Flint was on edge as these stabbing attacks were continually happening. Genesee County was finally able to relax a bit when the suspect was arrested in a Georgia airport by United States Customs and Border Protection officers and then extradited back to Michigan.

The oldest case in this list would be the Michigan Murders committed by John Norman Collins. Collins is known by a number of nicknames in this case including the "Ypsilanti Ripper," the "Michigan Murderer," and the "Co-Ed Killer." Authorities believe that John Norman Collins is responsible for seven murders but was only convicted of one.

Also, before you start yelling at me for not including other serial killers on this list, don't worry, there will be more lists to follow in the future.
