The struggle is real. It is hard to close the chip bag after one chip. Who can resist a big old pumpkin spice latte? Not many can stop at one Oreo. Again, the struggle is real. Food is good and no one is stopping us from indulging. That being said, we have all had those weeks where we eat like crap. Fried, cheesy, greasy, and oh so good. There is a price to be paid for the enjoyment.

What if the label told us the exercise required to burn the calories of what we eat? Good idea right? One study found that instead of health info on labels, printing the amount of EXERCISE you'd need to burn could help people consume less.

For example, a can of Coke with 150 calories would tell you that your are looking at walking or running 15-30 minutes to burn it.

Considering Lansing/Michigan has some of the highest calorie restaurants in the country, one might wonder what the labels would say in these places:

After telling you all of this, maybe we are not ready for exercise labels. We might just need to eat and enjoy life. Nothing wrong with that! In the event you are still looking for ways to help you stay healthy, click the link below.
