Easter Sunday is just a few days away and according to the Detroit Free Press, many metro Detroit restaurants are offering special Easter menus .

This is a great idea for people who like to dine at nice restaurants and just don't want to bother with cooking on this special day.

The Detroit Free Press tells us Easter is typically a busy time for restaurants with brunches and buffets.  While you may not find many buffets because of the coronavirus health crisis, plenty of restaurants have special Easter menus for dine in and carry out.

Let's take a look at a few Detroit restaurants open for business on Easter Sunday:

1.  Clarkston Union in Clarkston.  Easter packages include bourbon maple ham, a hash brown casserole layered with scrambled eggs, turkey sausage gravy and crispy hash browns, butter milk biscuits and more.  This sounds so delicious.  (Detroit Free Press)

2.  Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar in Birmingham and Livonia.  Sign me up for this Easter treat.  The Detroit Free Press tells us the menu features a roasted golden beet salad to start and filet mignon paired with either crab stuffed shrimp or lobster tail scampi as the main course.  And how about a chocolate gooey butter cake for dessert?

3.  Three Cats Cafe in Clawson.  Three delicious Easter dinner options are offered for take out.  The dinner options are offered with several sides including Yukon gold mash, roasted asparagus and savory apple dressing.  (Detroit Free Press)
