So far this week, Bob and Doug, (Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley) America's newest astronauts in space and the crew of the Crew Dragon spacecraft, have flown over Lansing three times. The International Space Station they're hanging out in now orbits Earth every 93 minutes and it makes passes over Michigan all the time. There's an easy way to find out when and where they'll fly over Lansing next. You've binge watched everything by now and there are no live shows happening anywhere this summer. This might be your next "thing".

If you want to see the ISS, NASA has created a handy website called SpotTheStation. All you have to do is type in "Lansing, MI" (or wherever you might be - this would be great for a nice clear night up north),or find us on their interactive map. I've done most of the work for you, here.

For the rest of this week, the ISS will appear fairly low in the west and then travel toward the south where it will disappear below the horizon. BUT, if you keep checking back or sign up for alerts sent to you, we should have some sightings soon that will be higher in the sky. Enjoy!

And if you're wondering, "why all the 'Bob and Doug' references in the media?" Allow me to share some early 80s comedy:
