Getting the kids to school on time each morning can be a hassle that results in nagging, yelling and racing out the door.  But by creating a positive morning routine, you can teach your child to take responsibility for getting ready without any extra stress.

Here are some recommendations from the Boys town Center for Behavioral Health.

1.  Decide what time your child needs to be out the door to be on time.

2.  Think about everything your child needs to do and how much time each task will take.

3.  Make a list of things that need to be done, including:  getting dressed, brushing hair, eating breakfast, brushing teeth and grabbing a coat and backpack.
