Saddleback BBQ with New Options at MSU Football and Basketball Games

It's time for real barbeque lovers to enjoy great food, courtesy of Saddleback BBQ. It's a new option for MSU fans this fall at Spartan Stadium and at the Jack Breslin Student Events Center.

When it comes to green and white sporting events in East Lansing,, nothing makes it better than enjoying great food at a great MSU football or basketball game.

According to the Lansing State Journal:

The restaurant is one of four outside vendors at Spartan Stadium, along with Ben's Soft Pretzels, East Lansing-based Grand Grillin and Subway, said Cheryl Berry, assistant director of Marketing and Communications for MSU'S Culinary Services.

We've had Saddleback BBQ come to our radio stations at Townsquare Media in the past and really enjoyed their delicious mouth watering food. They do a fantastic job with all of their BBQ menu items.

So now when it comes to going to MSU home football or basketball games, we can order delicious ribs from Saddleback BBQ.

Saddleback BBQ has two locations in the Greater Lansing area. One in Lansing's REO Town and the other in my home town, which is Okemos.

The Lansing State Journal also tells us:

During the first game at Spartan Stadium, the menu includedboth brisket and pork sandwiches, chips, coleslaw and ribs. "We're right by the student section," he said. "Doors open an hour and a half before kickoff and we had traffic from start to finish."

This is absolutely wonderful. Now I can get two of my favorite food choices at MSU football and basketball games. Pulled pork from Saddleback BBQ and for dessert, ice cream cookies from Melting Moments.

As long as they keep dishing out great food at Spartan basketball and football games,  we'll keep coming to home games to support our green and white teams. GO GREEN!
