Partially Abandoned: Robinson Scenic Gardens, Mancelona, Michigan
This place was once known as the Good Shepherd Scenic Gardens, located at US-131 southwest of Mancelona out in the countryside.
Whereas there is still a gift shop, animal statues, and a workshop, there used to be a sculpture park to walk through where there were Biblical scenes & figures. This section is now closed and deserted, even though many found it intriguing...and some found it scary.
Otherwise, there are still other statues to pose with: a giraffe, hippo, elephant, camel, lion, a weird clown head with antlers, humpty dumpty. and a creepy Bugs Bunny-type rabbit statue.

Past customers have left a good handful of comments online:
“The place is very run down and kinda creepy. Three huge dobermans in a pen barked the whole time we were there, and a pit bull on the loose followed us around, growling.”
“The vibe of the property itself is not strange. The strange feeling comes from a different source.”
“(We) are no strangers to weird and unusual roadside oddities, (but) this one kept us in our vehicle due to the odd energy and creepiness this stop eluded.”
It is a little odd to come across this bizarre park out in the country, away from everything else. Have you been here before? It's located seven miles south of Mancelona, alongside northbound US-131.
Take a look at some photos below and see if you agree with any of the above comments...
