ROAD CLOSURE: Consumers Energy Fixes Gas Line Break In REO Town

The 1100 block of South Washington Ave has been shut down due to a gas line break and will remain closed for further notice, according to WILX.

The gas line break was fixed, but the neighborhood has been evacuated.

According to Consumers Energy spokesperson, the break happened around 1:17 p.m.

At this time, travelers are asked to seek alternate routes.
