Who's ready for more great Michigan concerts? REO Speedwagon is coming to Jackson College to perform at the Potter Center on Oct. 14.

October 14 is a Friday and we are once again ready to see one of the most iconic groups from the past several decades, REO SPEEDWAGON!

I've been playing REO Speedwagon songs on the radio going way back to the '70s and '80s, and still playing their songs today.

REO Speedwagon puts on a great show and I've seen them in concert at least ten times. Fans drive from all over the mid-Michigan area and beyond to see one of the best rocks bands out there.

According to mlive.com:

Fronted by iconic vocalist Kevin Cronin since 1972, REO Speedwagon in 1980 released its album, “Hi Infidelity,” which contained songs like “Keep On Loving You” and “Take It On The Run.”

Now we can all see REO Speedwagon In October at Jackson College. Trust me when I say they will play quite a few of their all time greatest hits. Courtesy of mlive.com:

Now 40 million records later, people all over the world still come out to watch them play live, officials said. Fans will enjoy “In Your Letter,” “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” “Time for Me To Fly,” “Roll With The Changes,” and many more.

I remember seeing REO Speedwagon at Pine Knob Music Theater in Clarkston, at Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mount Pleasant, and at the Ionia County Fair.

I even got the chance to meet REO Speedwagon at one of their concerts in Pine Knob after the concert. You couldn't ask for a better bunch of nice guys. It was a great concert and meeting them backstage was worth the drive to Clarkston.
