The State of Michigan is going to be working with both the U.S. and Michigan Humane Societies to shut down puppy mills in the state.

According to WILX_News 10, Your Breaking News and Weather Authority, Michigan's Attorney General's office has received nearly 20 complaints of puppy scams since 2017.

It is reported that U.S. consumers spend at least one billion dollars each year without knowing that they may be buying their dog from a dog scammer or puppy mill operator.

Both of these illegal operations often do not deliver the same dogs to potential owners as were promised.
