Poll Says Schor on Pace to be Next Lansing Mayor
Who will be the next mayor of Lansing? It's early in the race, but State Rep. Andy Schor, D-Lansing, is on pace to be the city's next mayor, according to a new poll.
A telephone poll of 258 likely voters taken from March 28-30 found Schor with a 27 point lead over At Large Council Member Judi Brown Clarke.
They were asked whether they support Schor, Clarke or another candidate for mayor. Schor polled 47% to Clarke's 20%.
There's a long way to go and Judi Brown Clarke could turn it around, but at this stage Schor is in excellent shape. Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
