Have you ever had it? NASTY STUFF.
I've had poison ivy a couple of times in my adult life and I NEVER WANT IT AGAIN. I find it odd that throughout my entire childhood, I NEVER got a dose of poisoning from poison ivy...and we kids were always out in the woods camping, exploring, walking through foliage, weeds, etc.
I don't get it.
I even caught it once from petting a dog that had been rummaging through it.
EASIEST WAY TO IDENTIFY IT: The most common poison ivy resembles the state of Michigan. Of the three leaves, the far right one looks like Michigan; the far left leaf resembles the state of Michigan reversed and the middle leaf looks like our state with a 'thumb' on both sides.
So there ya are. Stay away from this crappy stuff.
