And what about people who would like to make dinner easy on themselves on Thanksgiving? No cooking whatsoever. Just place your Thanksgiving dinner order at a local restaurant, go pick it up and head home with everything you need to share with your immediate family.

There are several really good restaurants to choose from in the Greater Lansing area.

1. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Delta Township. One of my favorite choices on this list. Cracker Barrel has you covered with everything you need for Thanksgiving. They have all kinds of great choices for your holiday feast.

2. Bravo Italian Kitchen. Excellent food at Bravo on Towne Centre Boulevard in Lansing. If you want your Thanksgiving dinner hot or cold, Bravo Italian Kitchen has you covered. Complete with turkey, garlic mashed potatoes, stuffing and pumpkin pie.

3. Saddleback BBQ on South Washington Avenue in REO Town. Not picking out favorite restaurants from this list, but I will say the food at Saddleback BBQ is delicious. I'm very happy they're offering multiple takeout options. Saddleback has a whole bird dinner for over $200.00. And this Thanksgiving dinner serves up to eight people.
