The bd's Mongolian Grill at 2080 W. Grand River Avenue in Okemos will be demolished by next spring to make way for the construction of a new Panera Bread restaurant.

It will be torn down by March, according to the Lansing State Journal.  The company plans to construct a 4,534-square-foot Panera Bread restaurant on the property once demolition of the current building is complete.

The construction drawings are being completed right now.  According to township documents, the restaurant's development plans include the creation of a drive-thru and outdoor seating, along with just under 50 parking spaces.
