It's true...for the FIRST time in history, older music has OUTSOLD THE NEW.

With the revival and resurgence of vinyl records, the old music is becoming increasingly popular...not just with the over-30 crowd or Boomers, but with the younger generation as well.

According to jobsnhire.com:
"About ten years ago, current music album sales outsold catalogue music by more than 150 million. Now, the latter has outpaced the former by over 4.3 million copies."

It goes on to say:
"(One reason) is because of the so-called vinyl revival. Sales of vinyl records have considerably jumped in recent years, owing to the younger set discovering olden LP vinyl records."
