Old Town's annual Chocolate Walk runs Thursday from 3 until 7 p.m.  The annual event takes participants through Old Town's shops and restaurants, with gourmet chocolate available for tasting at each stop.

Every person who purchases a ticket will receive a box that can carry two pounds of chocolate, along with a punch card and map of participating businesses, which will include Absolute Gallery, Grace Boutique, Preuss Pets and Sweet Custom Jewelry.

Vanessa Shafer, executive director of the Old Town Commercial Association said, "we get people who've never been to Old Town before because everybody loves chocolate, and it's also a great way to introduce people to the community we are."  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
